Jennifer Haufler is an active and supportive member of The Canadian Media Producers Association, The Directors Guild of Canada, Women in Film and Television, and The Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television. Having been a part of Toronto’s film business for 20+ years, Jennifer is a veteran in the industry and has worked on major studio and independent productions, including American Gods, Designated Survivor, The Expanse, Small Crimes, The Witch, Pixels, Pompeii, and Total Recall. She is currently a Co-Producer on CBS’s upcoming prequel to the original series, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. Her independent feature film, The Marijuana Conspiracy, was recognized at the 2020 Academy Awards for gender equality. A strong advocate for the advancement of women in her field, Jennifer was designated a ReFrame Ambassador – an initiative led by WIF and Sundance Institute to promote a more gender-representative industry on all levels. Jennifer concentrates her efforts on producing and philanthropy. She is a loyal supporter of the arts community and is a climate leader having gone through the Climate Reality Program instructed by Al Gore, and is a part of his inner “green” circle.
