Emma Houghton is a performer, creator, writer, visual artist, and very curious human. She received her BFA in Acting with Distinction from the University of Alberta in 2017 and has since worked with many professional theatre companies and independent film creators throughout Alberta. In recent years she has begun creating her own work, including play adaptations, new plays, series pitches, and short films. Emma is lucky to have received funding as an artist through The National Theatre School of Canada, The Edmonton Arts Council, and The Alberta Foundation for the Arts. Recently Emma mastered the perfect scrambled eggs and hopes that the dopamine hit off that success helps her soar to new heights in life. She is excited to be here at Banff!
