Carly Brenner Hunter is the leading Underwater Specialist, in Eastern Canada. Working her way up the ladder through the camera department, Carly has combined her love of the underwater world and film/ In 2015, Carly studied commercial diving, which has opened the door to underwater filmmaking. As a member of I.A.T.S.E. Locals 667 and 873, Carly operates the camera underwater, pulls focus regularly, and occassionally works as a Grip.

In 2019, she opened Carly Underwater Film & Safety Inc. with the tagline: "All things water for cinema.... Consulting, Crewing, Rentals & Safety." Her company has been successful in providing the water safety in Ontario on various productions, ranging from small independent sets, to large scale union shows. Whenever Carly has a spare moment, she is working on her documentary, "Wrecks!", and hopes to release this film in the near future. 

Carly is thrilled to be a part of the Banff Spark program, and can't wait to meet the other participants.
