Leena Minifie (Gitxaala/British) is an impact, media, film and television producer and digital strategist based in Vancouver, BC. She is a senior communications leader from Canada and legal in the United States as a Tsimshian (Alaskan Native & First Nations). An impact-driven producer with over 27 years of experience shaping Indigenous storytelling, branding, and interactive media. Significant knowledge of production in digital marketing campaigns, TV, film, documentaries, radio, language projects, websites, and interactive web projects. Skilled at managing teams and complex deliverables for production and organizational marketing. Considered one of the top Indigenous media experts in Canada, with a journalism background and an extensive history of doing innovative work in Indigenous (Native, Alaskan and First Nations) communities. Her recent project include the feature investigative documentary The Good Canadian (CBC/APTN) the five-part drama series and feature film, Bones of Crows (CBC/APTN/SRC/SBS/Hulu/Prime Video) the four-part series and interactive digital timeline British Columbia - An Untold History (Knowledge Network), interactive audiovisual webart Sense of Home (Best New Media ImagineNative 2012), ?E?anx ‘The Cave’ (Sundance Festival 2011, TIFF Top Ten 2011).
