Dayrit is a first-generation, Filipino-Canadian. In 2016, she co-founded, with her husband Michael Milo, MuslimKids.TV, a specialty streaming service. The service is the leading streamer for Muslim children and families with customers in 60 countries.
Flordeliza is Chief Content Officer (COO) at MuslimKids.TV and is responsible for all original productions and acquisitions. She is also a prolific writer and director, and her work covers all genres of children's production from 2D and 3D animation, to live action, as well as songs and interactive games.
Flordeliza’s debut as a children’s TV writer and director was in 2007 with the pre-school series Hurray for Baba Ali that achieved 33 million YouTube views. She is also the writer and director of Time Hoppers: The Silk Road, Investigating Tabook, Zainab and Naji, and Mama and Lulu.
Flordeliza’s projects have been financed by Canada Media Fund, Alberta Media Fund and Shaw Rocket Fund. She is a Banff World Media Festival, 2020 SPARK "Women in Media" entrepreneur as well as a 2023 Netflix Voices of Diversity fellow.
Dayrit has worked extensively in the education sector and has held the position of Cultural-Bridging Facilitator at Saskatoon Open Door Society.
