Eva Colmers is an experienced director and producer of award-winning films in the dramatic, documentary and animation genre – including The Suburbanight, Happy Birthday, Mango!, 2.57k, Granny Baby, Not a One-Way Street and The Weightless Traveller. She has also written and directed long-form NFB documentaries: The Elder Project, The Enemy Within, and We Regret to Inform You. Her company, No Problem Production is known for creativity and great working relations with production teams, broadcasters and support organizations.

More recently, Eva has directed for APTN’s tv series Caution May Contain Nuts (produced by Mosaic Entertainment) as well as Bell Media’s BravoFACT and BravoFACTUAL.

Eva is a member of the DGC and CMPA as well as a proud alumni of WIDC and NSI. For her work Eva has received several major awards such as AMPIA’s Rosie Awards for Best Director and Best Producer, EDA Award for Best Social Journalism (DOXA Festival Vancouver), Best Short Film Award (Golden Sheaf Award), Best Experimental Film Award (NYC Independent Film Festival) to name just a few.

Eva and No Problem Productions are presently in development of two diverse and innovative series proposals that will offer the world some needed hope, thoughts and sheer fun.
