I come from a theatre background and was introduced to film as an actor about 12 years ago. With my solid business background, and creative skills, producing came "naturally". I’ve also learned by taking courses but mostly by “getting my hands dirty” on set”.

With my business partner, Daniel Foreman, we own Treaty 6 Productions and have created several short films, including an award-winning animated series called Raven Adventures. Dan is the writer and director, and I produce (which, in short films, means "the person who does whatever is needed to be done"). Our short projects have included everything from music videos to cheezy horror to drama. In 2019, the beginning of COVID, I produced our first feature film “Abducted” which we sold for US distribution before it was even complete.

I believe in giving back to the community, and in 2013, Daniel and I created the Edmonton Short Film Festival to provide a venue where emerging and mid-career Alberta filmmakers would have an opportunity to have their films screened. The festival has grown to a year-round event, and now also offers opportunities to filmmakers from around the world looking to screen short films in front of an appreciative live audience.
