Speaker Elaine Kunda
Elaine Kunda is the Founder of Disruption Ventures, the first private Canadian VC fund that invests in early-stage companies founded by women. Elaine spent most of her career as an operator, she was CEO of multiple early-stage venture backed companies and has been an advisor to many start-ups. Elaine had 2 exits and is utilizing her experience to actively support the companies in her portfolio.
Elaine is a sought-after speaker, active in the Canadian innovation ecosystem and has spent many years focussed on financial empowerment of women Globally. She is currently an Associate for CDL Montreal, was a founding advisor to The Girls20, a Next Canada Mentor and McMaster Alumni Board Member.
Elaine is a Board Director for ePACT, Hostfully and Fable Tech Labs.
