Georgina López

Before founding Lopii Productions, Georgina López worked as a producer and/or production manager on all types of television programs including lifestyle, scripted and animation. Her passion and preference has always been working in kids television.

She won the 2016 Canadian Screen Award and received three Daytime Emmy nominations as Producer, for the ground-breaking children’s TV series ‘Odd Squad’ with PBS. Other notable credits include: 'Dino Dan', 'Dino Dan: Trek's Adventures', 'Annedroids', 'Giver', 'Playdate", 'It's My Party' and 'Dot'.

In 2018, Georgina and her partner/sister founded Lopii Productions. Lopii produced two series for TVOkids, My Home, My Life! (21 x 7/Live Action/distributed by Sinking Ship Entertainment) and My Stay-at-Home Diary (20x 4:30/Live Action/distributed by Bomanbridge Media). Lopii also created/produced 2 shorts for Sesame Street’s season 50 (Stop Animation) and season 51 (Live Action). Lopii Productions has a number of exciting projects in development for 2021. They are currently in production of season 2 of My Home, My Life!

Who are Lopii?

Lopii = The plural of Lopez.

Identical twin sisters and Emmy Nominated TV Producers Georgina and Rennata López founded Lopii Productions in 2018.

Working in the biz as freelance producers, Georgina and Rennata decided to join forces to create and produce their own content.

Lopii Productions is dedicated to producing shows that are diverse both on-screen, and behind the scenes.
